Hi there, it´s Adeline
I am an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher
working all over the globe.
Finding ashtanga yoga in India in 2014 was like finding my true home. Born in a fast german city, growing up hard science based and atheistic, noone around me could see beyond the material world. Already as a little girl I knew there is more to life, I could smell the magic. Yoga gave me my ground: in 2016 I moved to India for several years to deeply study yoga, the actual practical philosophy, and the local culture - right at the source!
Yoga became an ongoing, life changing experience, lead to a daily practice and several yoga teacher trainings for ashtanga, yin and vinyasa flow.
Having toured the world as a dancer for many years, before my yogic career, enjoying ease with controlling my body, with esthetics and alignment, with states of flow and nowness, expression and authenticity, purity and connectedness, and sharing this love with others, was my daily business. Getting to know yoga I was blown away by the liberation of dropping esthetics and performance, and especially by what more movement and body can inspire in the energetical world.
At the age of 16 I started teaching jazz dance, aerobics and hip hop, later followed by teaching Tango Argentino in Berlin's 3 most renowned studios Mala Junta, TTMS and Nou. I graduated as dance pedagogue and I got the opportunity to teach at countless festivals, workshop weekenders, teacher trainings as well as in institutions like Yale, Stanford and Princeton world wide.
Being taught one cannot live as a dancer, I also tried the ‚reasonable‘ path, I did do university and graduated with a Masters in Gender Studies and a Masters in Educational Science at Humboldt University Berlin.
My calling to contribute for holistic health, especially emotional well-being and empowerment was very present, and my career as a dancer blossomed wonderfully, so I gratefully took the journey. In fact professionally I steadily moved further towards my interest for healing and happiness. I completed the ‚Practice group leader training‘ at the ‚Academy for Inner Science‘, where I improved my skills in holding spaces for groups to facilitate empowerment - just to name one of a long list of further trainings.
Being a teacher at heart, bringing all these different experiences and skill sets together, I create a unique yoga experience for my students, focusing on the liberation of the body and the inner world.
Today I am a deeply dedicated yoga and meditation teacher, holding retreats, trainings and workshops worldwide.
