Anker Hi there

I am Adeline

I am an internationally working yoga teacher and teacher trainer.

E-RYT 500+ Yoga teacher

YACEP Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider

100 h Yin Yoga specialization

Certified Dance Educator

M.A Gender Studies

M.A Educational Science

My journey into yoga began in 2014 when I stumbled into an Ashtanga class during one of my travels through India. Since that day, I practice six days a week.

I returned in 2016, having saved up for my first teacher training. After another season spent in India with my first teacher, I simply never took that plane back to Berlin. Instead, I stayed on the road, mostly in India for about five years, to deepen my yoga practice. I completed several yoga teacher trainings in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, creative sequencing, adjustments and more. While I gained much from the yoga classes I attended every morning, my immersion into life in India taught me just as much about yoga, such as kindness, devotion, consciousness and service.

Since then, I have had the privilege of teaching yoga, holding retreats, and providing teacher trainings and workshops worldwide. By now, I am also a certified teacher trainer for Yoga Alliance.

It has been over ten years now that I have embraced a nomadic lifestyle, a choice that mirrors the flexibility and liberation I seek in my yoga practice. I believe in immersing myself fully in the world and remaining open to transformation.

Beyond my yoga journey, my background in dance and my let's say unusual choices of living have all deeply shaped my approach to teaching.
Before my yoga career, I spent many years touring the world as a dancer, gaining extensive experience working with bodies and movement. Finding ease in body control, alignment, flow states, authenticity, and connectedness - and sharing these with others - has always been at the core of my professional life and my personal passion.

At the age of 16, I started teaching jazz dance, aerobics, and hip hop, later followed by teaching Tango Argentino in Berlin's most renowned studios. I had the privilege of teaching in countless festivals, workshops, and prestigious institutions like Yale, Stanford, and Princeton.

In 2006, I graduated from a one-year dance pedagogue program.

I also hold two Master's degrees in Gender Studies and Educational Science and am a trained facilitator for spiritual practice groups.

As a teacher at heart, I draw from my rich and varied background to create a soft and safe space for self-exploration, supporting my students' journeys.
I teach with humility and respect in service of the tradition. In my classes, I aim to create the same space of heart for my students, that my journey to India has opened up for me.
